If you’re an artist looking for more attention, submitting to really prestigious art blogs can certainly help you with that. There are hundreds of places online where you can submit your work and get published. Even better, if you make it on to one major art and design blog, you could see your work go viral and get shared amongst many others.
Today I am sharing 45 of the best blogs to showcase your creative work and get noticed. To help even further, I’ve included links where possible to submit. Many have thousands or hundreds of thousand followers with plenting of inspiration.
Just follow the guidelines and you’re on your way. On most you will also be adding your site which creates a backlink for you from high ranking sites…….Win/Win!!!

1. Colossal
Colossal is a Webby-nominated blog that explores art and other aspects of visual culture. There are frequent quirky posts, but generally Colossal is a reminder that in the digital age there are still countless people making incredible work with their bare hands. Want to submit? Send a very brief email with a basic description of your work and attach a few relevant images at least 1,000 pixels wide. File size is not an issue.

2. Booooooom
Booooooom was launched in 2008 by Vancouver-based artist Jeff Hamada. It is Canada’s highest traffic art blog, and one of the largest on the web. The site is an authoritative voice in the new contemporary art scene, highlighting emerging talents, and launching the careers of many young artists internationally. The most effective way to share your work is to post an image and a link to one of the monthly submission posts – you can find the latest one here. Or you can submit your work via his Facebook Wall or Vimeo group.

3. Surface Magazine
Surface is the American magazine of global contemporary design. Founded in 1993, Surface covers the worlds of architecture, art, design, fashion, and travel, with a focus on how these fields shape and are shaped by contemporary culture. Definitely one for you artists to target!

A beautiful website featuring emerging artists and illustrators, along with the occasional erotic artworks. If you want your work to be considered for publication, then there’s no easy way to submit to Juxtapoz. Perhaps strike up a conversation with managing editor Alex Nicholson on Instagram?

5. Contemporary Art Daily
One of the most famous art blogs, offering a real dose of inspiration to art lovers worldwide. If you want to submit your own art exhibition, then the site has provided official guidelines which request a press release in a PDF format, a checklist – particularly for group shows – and that images are shared via Dropbox or WeTransfer at the highest resolution available.

Yatzer is a really beautifully designed art and design blog, founded in 2007 by Greek interior designer Costas Voyatzis. Aiming itself at the higher end creative professional, it shares travel, architecture, design, fashion and – you guessed it – art. To submit a project, you have to email them high-resolution images, at least 2,560 pixels wide, along with a decent press release.

9. Hi-Fructose
Hi-Fructose is a quarterly print art magazine, founded by artists Attaboy and Annie Owens in 2005. It also shares lots of art inspiration online via its popular blog. The site offers some detailed submission guidelines for both mediums but simply requests that you email them a link to your work with ‘Submissions’ in the email subject line. Don’t attach anything, and don’t introduce yourself and waffle. Simple.
